ICICLE’s cultural programme for 2023 focuses on the theme of the tree, symbolising balance and harmony in traditional Chinese thought. Through four exhibitions, the ICICLE Cultural Space centres around the dialogue between man and nature.
“In the Shade of the Peaks” by Jonas Delhaye
2 – 25 February 2023
ICICLE Cultural Space
From the 2nd to the 25th of February 2023, the ICICLE Cultural Space presents the exhibition “In the Shade of the Peaks” by French artist Jonas Delhaye. Featuring a series of in situ works created in parks and forests, the exhibition reflects both the artistic residencies in which Delhaye participated, as well as his travels in France, China and Canada.
A finalist for the Discovery Prize of the Palais de Tokyo in 2014 and winner of the Yishu 8 Prize in 2019, Delhaye explores themes of time, presence, and immersion in Nature. At the intersection of sculpture, photography, and performance, his work engages in a dialogue with the landscape, representing the dynamic and ever-evolving relationships between humans and their environment.

ICICLE Cultural Space
The ICICLE Cultural Space invites French-American artist Vicky Colombet to present “Antarctica-Shanshui” from the 16th of March to the 30th of May 2023, an exclusive exhibition featuring “Artistic Confidences” that explore music and literature.
A prominent figure in contemporary art in Europe and the United States, Colombet creates abstract works that resonate with the imperceptible flow of time. Her contemplative and metaphorical approach captures the essence of Nature’s cycles through vivid landscapes.
