ICICLE and The Woolmark Company have come together to unveil the Traceable Wool Collection, a collaboration that embodies their shared commitment to exceptional quality and sustainable development. This capsule collection is available in two lines: the Superfine Merino Wool Collection and the ICICLE Dew Collection. From responsible wool sourcing to ethical garment manufacturing, every step is transparent and traceable, preserving a complete record of the craftsmanship journey.
At the heart of this project is a special selection of Merino wool, carefully sourced from Australian farms known for their quality and care. The Superfine Merino Wool Collection offers a range of knitwear that combines incredible fineness and longevity, showcasing ICICLE's aesthetic of comfortable, functional elegance. With an average fibre diameter of just 13.75 microns, this wool provides a delicate sensation comparable to cashmere, offering unparalleled comfort across seasons.
Similarly, the ICICLE Dew Collection highlights outdoor pieces like trench coats and jackets made from traceable Merino wool woven with silk threads to create a naturally water-repellent and windproof fabric. Sourced from farms that prioritise the preservation of the sheep’s living conditions and the ecosystem, this wool is crafted into garments that are elegant, practical, and a pleasure to wear—ideal for both urban commutes and outdoor adventures.

This project marks ICICLE's inaugural traceable collection, a significant step in our long-term commitment to sustainability. By partnering with The Woolmark Company, ICICLE takes the first step towards achieving full traceability in the supply chain.
The Traceable Wool Collection not only celebrates natural fabrics but also champions transparency. Each product comes with a traceable QR code, providing customers with access to the full supply chain information. By scanning the code, customers can learn about the flocks and processes that brought their garments to life, tracing the wool’s journey from the farm to the store.
ICICLE’s founder, Ye Shouzeng, notes, “This project perfectly illustrates our unending search for the finest raw materials produced in the most responsible way.” This drive for sustainability has even inspired the creation of the ICICLE Natural Way Award, recognising companies and individuals who explore advanced harmony between man and Nature.
