NEW ANCIENT STRINGS | SPRING/SUMMER 2026

Canton Gauze is a study in transformation. Silk passes through cycles of sun, earth, dye, and time, developing a deep patina and a dual character that is both supple and structured. Dyed with Dioscorea cirrhosa and treated with mineral-rich mud, its surface carries natural variations of brown and black. This season, the material is treated to modern construction. A twill version introduces new body and architectural definition, while a ghost crêpe variation reveals raised textures paired with slow silk knits. Together, the garments form a dialogue between revived craftsmanship and contemporary expression.
