This dress is crafted from silk using the ancestral Gambiered Canton Gauze technique, a vegetal dyeing process from southern China. 

It involves immersing the silk in natural mud and drying it repeatedly in the sun to fix the colour, without any chemical treatment. 

Undyed, the fabric reveals deep black tones and gradually develops a unique patina over time. 

Naturally lightweight and fluid, it moves gracefully with the body.
