These trousers are crafted from silk using the ancestral Gambiered Canton Gauze technique, a vegetal dyeing process from southern China. 

It involves immersing the silk in natural mud and drying it repeatedly in the sun to fix the colour, without any chemical treatment. 

The fabric is known for its durability, becoming softer and more comfortable over time, while developing a unique patina reminiscent of denim.
