Female model photographed in profile in a dimly lit traditional interior, standing beside a dark wooden latticed door frame — wearing a sleeveless collarless shift dress in soft slate-blue fabric with a smooth, fluid drape and a subtle dark botanical print of trailing vine leaves along the front placket — a serene, contemplative silhouette in a moody, atmospheric setting
ICICLE × SHANGHAI MUSEUM | SPRING/SUMMER 2026

For Spring/Summer 2026, ICICLE continues its collaboration with the Shanghai Museum, building a bridge between heritage and modern design. Drawing from historical garments, cultural symbols, and time-honoured techniques preserved within the museum’s collections, the collaboration reinterprets tradition through a contemporary lens. This season draws inspiration from Album of Orchids and Bamboo, a treasure from the museum’s collection by Qing dynasty painter Zheng Xie. Lightweight organza, silk, wool, and cashmere become refined silhouettes that play with transparency, layering, and proportion. Each piece is a considered dialogue between past and present, where craftsmanship informs modern life and cultural memory is something to be worn on your sleeve.
