Clay holds memories — of mountains, forests, rainfall, and time. Shaped by human hands, it becomes a vessel to be held, used, and lived alongside. EARTHBORN presents the work of Japanese ceramist Yaku Murakami, whose hand-built, one of one vessels embody an earthen tactility and quiet presence. Trained at Musashino Art University and based in Nagano, Murakami creates pots and teaware that balance form, function, and the gentle dignity of everyday use. His pieces carry the rhythm of touch, the subtle irregularity of individuality, and a beauty revealed in the simple rituals of daily life. On view across ICICLE Paris stores.
