ICICLE is honoured to present the first solo exhibition in Europe by acclaimed Chinese painter Luo Quanmu, opening the summer season at the Cultural Space above its George V boutique in Paris. 

A former textile factory worker in his youth, Luo Quanmu brings a rare depth of experience to his art. His canvases depict scenes from daily life, workers in transit, women at rest, furniture in motion, with a haunting sense of stillness and solitude. What appears familiar becomes dreamlike, as if suspended in time. Marked by luminous monochromes, deliberate brushwork, and a profound sense of structure, his paintings elevate the ordinary to the spiritual. Through quiet gestures and subtle colour fields, Luo explores the sacred within the everyday, inviting viewers to slow down and enter a meditative state.

With works held in leading Chinese museum collections, this Paris debut offers a rare opportunity to encounter the singular vision of an artist who transforms life’s simplest moments into rituals of contemplation.
