Cultural Space Artistic Programme
The ICICLE Cultural Space programme is dedicated to artists who are resolutely on the side of sensation and poetry, creators who remain faithful to the world of the senses and grounded in everyday reality,
standing apart from the cult of speed and performance.
With permanent spaces in both Paris and Shanghai, the programme affirms ICICLE’s long-term commitment to cultural exchange and to promoting French artists in China and Chinese artists in France.
Since its inception, the programme has presented solo exhibitions by artists whose work explores the depth of time, inner worlds, and the poetry of the everyday.
These are voices that favour silence over spectacle, gesture over performance, and a sensorial approach rooted in daily experience.
In 2024, the programme took on new resonance with eight exhibitions marking the 60ᵗʰ anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, under the curatorial direction of Myriam Kryger.
This milestone year culminated in ICICLE’s first participation in the West Bund Art; Design Fair in Shanghai, uniting all featured artists in a collective presentation.
In 2025, the platform continues to grow through thoughtful programming with artists who shape their work in the depth of time and reflect ICICLE’s founding values, artistic integrity, cultural dialogue,
and a belief in creation as a vital form of care, for the self, for others, and for the world.
