CARVED IN CLOTH/COTTON

The Water Collection approaches clothing as a form of sculpture; not imposing unfamiliar shapes on the body, but revealing and clarifying its existing lines. The collection balances precision and ease through controlled volumes, fluid silhouettes and exact tailoring. Sculpted cotton poplin gives clarity to shirts and lighter pieces; double-face wool cashmere creates structure with a soft, tactile finish; and knitwear follows the body without restricting it. Hardness and softness are treated as complementary qualities. Details are reduced so that proportion, material and workmanship can take precedence. This is contemporary minimalism grounded in the practical experience of dressing: fewer interventions, greater attention to fabric, and garments that express something truthful.
